Exploring the Arizona Stretch of Route 66

In light of Route 66’s upcoming centennial birthday, we are revisiting the Mother Road to tell the stories of past and present. We are covering the history of Route 66, focusing on the Arizona stretch from Oatman to Holbrook. Using the Route 66 collection from Cline Library, we show the road then and compared to how it is utilized today.

In addition to archive material, we spoke with Route 66 historians, business owners and travelers tell their stories. The docuseries asks how Route 66 has changed since its creation and what value the road has to those who have traveled it.  Welcome to Route 66 Miles and Memories.
