Joseph City, Arizona is a small, unincorporated community located in Navajo County along historic Route 66. Originally established by Mormon settlers in the late 1800s, it remains a quiet desert town, home to the Jack Rabbit Trading Post.

"Here It Is"

Opened in 1949, the Jack Rabbit Trading Post has been owned and operated by the same family for three generations. Current owners Cindy and Tony Jaquez have run the joint since 1995 and continue to keep the business hopping.

Cindy Jaquez said Route 66 is more than just a photo-op, it's about history and the stories of those who have lived along the road. Here's Cindy and her husband Tony's story.
