Seligman
Founded: 1886
Population: 731 (2023)
Known as the birthplace of Route 66, Seligman, Arizona, is an Americana time capsule. Seligman is home to the longest remaining stretch of Route 66.
"Guardian Angel of Route 66"
Angel Delgadillo was a barber along Route 66 when Seligman was bypassed by Interstate 40 in 1978. He formed the Historic Route 66 Association of Arizona to declare Route 66 from Williams to Seligman as historic.

Hear Angel's story in his own words. His daughters Clarissa and Mirna Delgadillo reflect on the continuing importance of Route 66 and growing up in Seligman.
